Spaceman

Spaceman is a movie about an astronaut sent on a solitary research mission, played by Adam Sandler, who receives advice from a giant spider-like space creature. Our team traveled to New York with a variety of tools including our photogrammetry body scan rig to scan stunt doubles, space suit costumes, and actors, including Mr. Sandler. Sets and props were captured with a combination of lidar and photogrammetry. Direct Dimensions delivered 3D models used by Netflix’s visual effects vendors to create the visual effects for the movie.
